All in all there are 38 hunting consortiums on approximately 8000 ha.
The division of the consortiums are geographically qualified, and the hunting areas vary in sizes from 19 ha and up to 430 ha.
Rental periods extends over 5 years, cutting on 1 May.
We often see that it is the same consortiums which are rented by the same people again and again, though.
Besides the management of wildlife, wildlife breeding and arrangements of huntings, our hunting personnel works as an essentiel part of the cultivation of our landscapes.

In the forests of Frijsenborg, you'll find sika deer, red deer, and wild boars, while at Wedellsborg you'll meet roe deer and fallow deer.
